Gulu Diagnostic Imaging Programme (GDIP)

Gulu Diagnostic Imaging Programme (GDIP)

Overview

GDIP is a pilot volunteering opportunity, developed to support capacity-building within imaging services in two hospitals in Gulu, a city in the north of Uganda. We are recruiting for two volunteers to support the project for 6 months on an overseas placement ideally from August 2022. The Fellowship is open to NHS employees in England with diagnostic imaging expertise, from both clinical and non-clinical backgrounds. If you are a doctor, you need to have completed your Foundation Programme training. If you have another clinical or managerial background, you need to have worked in an NHS AfC Band 6 role. NHS Fellows typically work on a local system-strengthening project, and do not provide patient care.
