The Thailand Public Health Research (TPHR) Programme

Overview

The TPHR Programme recruits NHS doctors from across England who have completed their Foundation training (as a minimum), and who have an interest in public health and developing their leadership skills. Fellows will work in partnership with academic teams in Thai medical schools, universities, and hospitals, on projects that impact healthcare delivery and system strengthening. You will be supported by a UK-based mentor, and a project supervisor in the research partner organisation. A stipend is paid by the Thai partner for the duration of the programme. The second cohort will begin their Fellowships in February 2023.

Applicants apply using the online form on the website, and must also send a CV to global.learning [at] hee.nhs.uk before the deadline. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a virtual 35-minute interview between 9-14 June 2022.
